The long isoform was also significantly increased in FTLD-TDP patients without a known mutation in causal FTD-ALS genes. b Increased expression levels of FLNC were confirmed on protein level using immunoblot analysis. In contrast to transcript levels, FLNC was also upregulated in VCP and FLNC variation carriers.
