G51D PD and MSA produce distinct PSyn aggregate morphologies in TgM83+/- mice. Images of PSyn inclusions in the indicated brain regions of a symptomatic MSA mouse (257 DPI) or asymptomatic G51D PD-1 and G51PD-2 mice at 540–543 DPI. Mice injected with MSA display “ring-like” PSyn inclusions whereas mice inoculated with G51D PD exhibit rounded, dense PSyn inclusions. The images from G51D PD-1 mice are derived from 5 distinct animals and the images from G51D PD-2 mice are derived from 2 distinct animals. All sections were stained with the EP1536Y PSyn antibody.
