Comparison of PrPSc gel profile between humanized TgMM and TgVV mice inoculated with sPMCA-generated CWD-derived human prions (Cd-HuPrPSc). Brain homogenates from TgMM and TgVV mice inoculated with Cd-HuPrPSc were treated with different amounts of PK ranging from 0 to 100 µg/mL prior to western blotting with the 3F4 antibody. Brain homogenates from patients with sCJDMM1 (T1) and sCJDMV2 (T2) were used as PrPSc type controls. The arrows indicate the gel mobility of the unglycosylated PK-resistant PrPSc.
