Summary of pHGG and DMG models and vascular phenotypes associated with each tumor type. Patient derived xenografts and in utero electroporation based cortical pHGG and brainstem DMG models were utilized to investigate in vivo vascular phenotypes. Across model systems, DMG tumor-associated blood vessels consistently displayed vascular phenotypes, BBB function and transcriptional programs similar to normal brain endothelium. pHGG tumor-associated blood vessels were associated with abnormal vascular phenotypes, BBB dysfunction, and transcriptional changes
