Manhattan plot for the GWAS of cognitive resilience to amyloidosis. The Manhattan plot displays observed −log10 p values (y-axis) for all single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) tested in the GWAS of longitudinal cognitive trajectory in the setting of amyloid PET positivity. Age, sex, years of education, memory domain intercept (as a measure of premorbid performance), genetic principal components, and APOE ɛ4 status (presence versus absence) were included as covariates. An additive genetic model was utilized, along with a minor allele frequency filter of 5%. A genome-wide significant association (p < 5 × 10–8; red line) with cognitive resilience to amyloidosis was identified on chromosome 8.
