In LBD, diverse αsyn pathologies are most abundant within the amygdala where common co-localization with tau and Aβ are seen along with dense αsyn-positive neuropil aggregates including in glial processes that may represent a less easily sequestered strain of αsyn. In AD/ALB, αsyn pathology is largely limited to large LB type inclusions that may represented a more sequestered and less pathogenic strain of αsyn
