Nodal knock down inhibits growth and proliferation of retinoblastoma cells. a Growth was inhibited by more than 90% in Y79 and WERI Rb1 cells expressing Nodal shRNAs, compared to scrambled shRNA controls, as determined by CCK-8 growth assay. Nodal downregulation produced smaller aggregates in Y79 and single cell cultures in WERI Rb1 compared to scrambled shRNA or parental cells. b,c.
