rAAV-D2Rs does not impact L-DOPA efficacy. a Cylinder task was performed 3 weeks post-lesion (pre-vector), off L-DOPA (post-vector, post-L-DOPA paradigm) and on L-DOPA (6 mg/kg, 50 min post injection). Both vector groups showed significant impairment following lesion and vector delivery, which was recovered with L-DOPA treatment. There were no significant differences between vector groups. b A second cohort received the same lesions and vector deliveries and motor function was evaluated using the adjusting steps tests. While all animals in both groups showed significant impairment on the test without L-DOPA, motor function was restored while on drug (8 mg/kg and 12 mg/kg).
