[18F]Flortaucipir PET in Patient A – Mildly to Moderately Impaired PRNP F198S GSS Patient. [18F]Flortaucipir scans from a mildly to moderately impaired GSS PRNP F198S mutation carrier (Patient a) show specific binding of the tracer in the basal ganglia, thalamus, insular cortex, postcentral gyrus, and inferior temporal lobe. At a lower threshold (lower panels), additional binding is seen in the medial temporal lobe and cingulate gyrus.
