Inhibition of PHF spreading by dmCBTAU-22.1 in a co-injection experiment using transgenic P301L mice. Two groups of 15 mice received unilateral (right hemisphere) hippocampal injection of 1 pmol AD-brain derived PHFs (concentration expressed in mols of monomeric tau) in an equimolar mixture with dmCBTAU-22.1 or an anti-rabies IgG2a isotype control antibody. Shown is the amount of PHF pathology, as determined by biochemical analysis (AT8/AT8 MSD) and displayed in arbitrary units (AU), in total P301L brain homogenates of the injected brain hemisphere two months after injection
