β-amyloid pathology in young and aged degus. Aβ staining using 6E10-antibody (a, b) resulted in unspecific background signals accompanied by spot-like intracellular immunoreactivity. Although visible in both, young (a) and aged (b), intensity generally tends to be elevated in aged animals.
