Double immunofluorescence staining was performed on serial skeletal muscle cryosections from a myotilinopathy patient (ID1 in Table 1) by using antibodies directed against the sarcolemmal proteins dystrophin, dysferlin, supervillain, and δ-sarcoglycan and either filamin C or myotilin.
