Expression of kif21b, but not other kinesins increases upon astrocyte activation. The astrocytoma cell line U251 was stimulated with IL-1β and IFN-γ for 48 h in three independent experiments in duplo. A) Kif21b expression increased approximately nine-fold upon stimulation, whereas B) kif1bα did not change C) and kif5a slightly decreased.
