Western blot analysis of inflammatory response in 3 and 8 month old mice. Brain homogenate from 3 and 8 month old R26CT and R26CT-CRE mice was separated by SDS-PAGE and transferred to nitrocellulose. Blots were probed for tubulin (as a loading control), GFP, ED1, and GFAP. A) At 3 months of age, there is no difference in levels of synaptophysin or ED1 between R26CT and R26CT-CRE mice.
