Punctate linear and curvilinear arrays of PrPSc in various brain regions. The PrPSc stain shows the punctate linear and curvilinear deposits of PrPSc in the putamen, hippocampus CA4, substantia nigra (Substantia Nig.), midbrain tegmentum (Midbrain Teg.) medullary tegmentum (Medullary Teg.), and cerebellar dentate nucleus (Dentate Nuc.) at low (10x) and high (40x) magnifications. Bar below 10x is 150 μm and bar below 40x is 50 μm.
