SDS-PAGE Western blot analysis of IC16, 1–57 and NT4X-167 antibodies. Freshly dissolved synthetic Aβ variants (7 μg each) were probed to a membrane. (a) IC16 detects Aβ_1–40 and Aβ_1–42 monomers and low molecular weight aggregates. (b) 1–57 recognizes Aβ_pE3-40 and Aβ_pE3-42 monomers, low molecular weight and larger aggregates of Aβ_pE3-42.
