Correlation of CSF and serum levels of miR-143-3p. Relative concentrations of miR-143-3p in CSF and serum standardized to the means of the respective compartment are plotted. The plot contains data points from both the healthy controls and ALS patients. A coefficient of determination (R2) of 0.3524 and a p-value < 0.01 indicates similar regulation in the CNS and peripheral compartment.
