  1. Presumptive synucleinopathy in the formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) sections was graded on a 0–3 scale. Wholemount synucleinopathy scores shown are from the original published study [12] and were graded as 0–2 based on the number of positive biopsies out of the 4 that were taken from each subject (the maximum assigned score was 2)
